About Us

Dr. GABRIELA HECHT

Background:

M.D., School of Medicine, University of Buenos Aires. Diploma of Honor. Specialist in Cardiology (Residency: Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires). Conference Interpreter and Scientific Translator. Twenty-five years’ experience as a simultaneous and consecutive interpreter in more than 1500 congresses and conferences.

Member of the following professional associations.:

AIIC (International Association of Conference Interpreters), ADICA (Asociación de intérpretes de conferencias de la Argentina), SAC (Argentine Society of Cardiology).

Teaching Activities:

During July and August of 2012, Dr. Gabriela Hecht conducted the workshop “Medical Knowledge for Simultaneous Interpreters”.

Publications:

Numerous papers published in local and international journals, i.e., Revista Argentina de Cardiología, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, American Journal of Cardiology, and author of chapters in the following books: “Evidencias en cardiología” (GEDIC, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2013 and 2016 editions) and “Ecocardiografía para las decisiones clínicas” (Panamericana, 2005).
